Injury

We thought we could get through the twin childhood without injury since Bogey has had so many surgeries.  We figured we could just count that as hospital visits.

Apparently, that isn't actually possible.

Double Bogey was playing on the trampoline and the basketball hoop that we had hanging up fell down and sliced his lip pretty good.  He had to get some stitches and he had to go to school with his shirt collar up around his nose.  This kid is very aware of his looks and he cares.  It wasn't until 1,000 people told him he looked tough, that he took the collar down.  After 10 days, he was very sad to get the stitches out.

Now all the boys have scars above their lips.

A few days into the summer break, Bogey crashed on the electric scooter and smacked his forehead.  It was swollen for at least a week!  He had two black eyes and bruising around his nose.

No concussion though.

I'm kinda starting to get the feeling these won't be the only injuries for these boys.  Let's just cross our fingers that whatever they do, they'll at least look tough.
