Neighborhood Night Games (Round 3 of 3)

Summertime is always super busy for us, but it's always so much fun.  I guess that's why we dread the start of the school year.  Sure, education is great and all--we're pro-school, we just love summer more.

Last night, we had our Neighborhood Night Games.  All I can say about this summer tradition is that nothing brings out the kid in you like an old fashioned round of Capture the Flag.  Everyone dressed in black (or all out camo) and slinking through unfenced back yards.  The thrill of protecting your flag/glow stick by slapping the tag on an intruder, or freeing a teammate from jail is a victory in and of itself.

We should have been taking pictures of all the times we have been together for these occasions.  We have had lots of different participants each time.  The picture we took last night is missing lots of people--at least 5 families (that took their kids into bed, or that usually play but missed last night) but it's enough proof to show the fun we had!

I guess I'll mention here that the house next door to us is for sale.  The house on the other side of us is up for rent.  If you feel like your missing out on so much fun not living in this neighborhood, you've got two chances to make it happen.  Hahaha!

We truly are so blessed to have the awesome friends and neighbors that we have.  We LOVE it here!
