A couple of weeks ago, a portion of the SRU's traveled down to Salt Lake City for a day of sophistication and pure entertainment.
We attended the theater for a production, and then to the Vivint Arena for some Utah Jazz basketball. ( #UTAvsIND )
I think it's important to note that this trip tipped off at 9 a.m. and ended the following morning around 1. I'm not sure there was very much time that passed that we weren't laughing. I was on poster duty on the drive down to Utah. Our main goal was to get onto the JumboTron, so much thought and deliberation went into the posters. I think they were pretty much #onpoint .
Fortunately for us, we had a few minutes between when the play ended and the doors for the game opened. We took a quick shopping trip to the Gateway Mall. One of the few stores tough enough to be open "due to weather" was Fanzz. We dropped in.
As luck would have it, we found #GordonHayward emoji shirts on sale. It was very necessary that those gems be in our possession. They were a HIT with Vivint Arena personnel.
The #UtahJazz did not disappoint--the game was exciting and we made it to the #JumboTron. (Thank you clearance t-shirts, posters, and sweet dance moves!)
I love my SRU besties (Steph Mc-G, you were dearly missed). 25 years together and still going strong!
