School’s Out for Summer!

Sometime back in April, I quit checking backpacks for homework.  I could almost smell summer vacation, and for some reason, my brain just slowly drifted out of school mode. 

The last day of school couldn’t come soon enough!  It was fun to watch Gimme and Birdie “star” in their class plays.  Both Gimme and Mulligan were rewarded for having all A’s and B’s for the entire school year.

As per tradition, we played hookie on the last day of school.  This year we went to Ross Park to swim and to officially usher in the summer.
