What Day is Today?

The other day, Birdie asked me if she could get a treat while we were at the store.

 I said, "yes."

She got super excited and said, "Today is a YES day!"

This morning she asked if we could go to McDonalds for chicken nuggets.

I said, "no." (It was 8 a.m.!  Who wants chicken nuggets that early?)

She went to her room sobbing (forced sobbing, that is) and she cried out, "Oh great.  Today is a NO day!"

Well, at least there will be no surprises when she asks for things today.
