Whenever my brother Kimball had something exciting to tell me, or if he had a secret to share with me, he always referred to me as "the sis" and to himself as "the bro". So when he prefaced his story by saying, "This is between the bro and the sis..." I always knew that whatever words followed were going to be memorable!
So if he were here, I'd probably say:

I thought of him Yesterday. I always remember that it is his birthday because it is the day after Lisa's.
