Big Day

This kid

has a special little place in my heart.  We lived next door to him and his family for a couple of years in the paradise also known as Stoneridge.  Even though he won’t admit it out loud (unless he’s bribed with French toast or strawberries and cream waffles), I know I’m his favorite Aunt Caddie. 

 

Today was a big day for him. 

 

 

He was baptized.  He is now a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. 

That’s a big commitment, but just because I know this kid, I know it’s something he’ll take very seriously.  Once he’s made up his mind about something, he’s in it for the long haul, and that’s why I feel so blessed to be related to him!  He has set such a great example for my children, and he’s been an example to me.

Being such a good boy comes in his genes.  His mom and dad, brother and sister have stayed so strong through the trials they’ve had to plow through these past few months.   I just know that the covenants that were made today will only add to the strength of their family.

So from his Favorite Aunt, and her family, we say, Congratulations T-Man!  We love you so much!
