I don’t know what I would do without him. These past two weeks have been full of ups and downs, comings and goings, tears and smiles.
And this guy has kept me grounded through it all.
He’s played with the older kids and made them feel like nothing has changed in our household…business as usual. They have loved having him home. He’s changed more than his fair share of diapers (here at home and at the hospital), and he is the master at putting babies to sleep.
He is the one that has taken all the information and medical input about Bogey and then translated it to me in a gentle, hopeful way, to ensure I remain calm (well, he tried to help me stay calm, but he can only do so much to tame the panic inside me… ;) He has been to that hospital every single day to see his baby boy. He has tracked down doctors to get answers, he has learned the art of feeding Bogey with a specialized bottle…this guy is AMAZING!
Most importantly, this guy has reminded me through his example, to keep the faith, to be humble, and to be grateful for the blessings we have. He continues to serve others, (especially his family) and to provide for us. I don’t think I can even explain in words the sacrifices he has made and is willing to make for us, and how much that means to me.
I would be a complete wreck without him.
I’m so glad we’re together in this trial, and that we’ll be together in all the others that we’ll have along the road to eternity.
(and because he hardly ever reads this blog, I can go ahead and get all mushy and say, “I LOVE YOU ACE!!”)

Glad you have someone to help you! It's always nice to get information a little sugar coated when you are a little stressed. Hope things are going well!!
He's a keeper! So glad you have such a supportive spouse and loving daddy to your children!
He sounds awesome. You deserve nothing less!! :)
You guys are so strong and faithful and patient. What an example you are to me. Heavenly Father will surely keep blessing you and your family for the strenth and Faith in you. My prayers are with you all.
Seeing your spouse step up during trials strengthens love, marriage, and families like nothing else can. I'm sorry you guys are having to go through such difficulties, but it is a great cementing process for your family. Love you guys!!
