A Kimball Memory...

When I was a sophomore in high school, my brother Kimball was a Junior.  It was so awesome to be so close in age!  Kimball and I were good friends and got along so well most of the time.

I say, "most of the time" because there was this ONE time I wanted to beat him up.

We had first hour together (geometry...blech) and we could have grade bump (A- bumped up to an A, or in my case in this class, a D to a C-...) if we didn't have any tardies or absences.

One morning, I was running late so I just grabbed a piece of toast and some orange juice and headed to the car.  Kimball was driving, and he could tell I was in a bad mood, but nonetheless, just as I was taking a drink of my juice, he punched the brake and juice went up my nose, all over my face and down my neck and on my shirt.

He was laughing hysterically, I was ready to cry, but I was too mad.  I made him turn around and go back home so that I could change.

Needless to say, we didn't get the grade bump, but every time I looked at him during class that day, he was grinning ear to ear, and sometimes even chuckling to himself.  It made me laugh to see him getting such a kick out of his little prank.  He always could get me out of a bad mood...

Happy Birthday Bro!

Ha ha!! What a brother! I was 11 when my brother Brian was killed at age 12. I remember having our share of little battles and teasing. :)
