A Picture---

I got a super nice Nikon D60 camera for Christmas. I wanted a camera like that so bad because I wanted to take pictures of my kids without paying a ton of money. Well, recently, I had this great idea to get a picture of my girls together to hang in their bedroom and I thought that while I was at it, I'd try to get a picture of my three kids together, to hang in our dining room (eh...correction...not really a dining room. Just over by our table where we sometimes dine...or eat...) Of course the second we walked outside (after fighting the "wardrobe change" for an hour), the wind started blowing like crazy. I don't know how we get so lucky when it comes to weather. Also, in that margin of time Mulligan and Birdie decided they were tired--watching TV for an hour really wore them out--so they were somewhat less than cooperative. But because I'm the way I am, I went ahead and persisted. And here are just a few of what we came up with, one windblown hour later:

Does anyone else notice that eyes are closed, heads are turned, and scowls exist in almost every picture? Who wants that on their wall?

The good news is, I'm not in any way a professional, so I really can't expect perfection, and, the forecast is calling for rain and snow so I'm in no rush to repeat the experience. The bad news, however, is that I still need to get those pictures. So I either have to go and do this all over again (sooner or later), or I have to cough up some cash for someone else to do it.

I can't decide which I prefer.

lol!!! You make me laugh. I think your pictures turned out pretty good. Yes, some of them may not be keepers, but I think the one with the girls on the bridge and the ones where they are by the green door are really cute. Good luck the next time you try.
