A few days ago, one of Cherlyn's (Ace's sister) friends told us about this great beach nearby. She told us how fun it was to take the kids and let them play and swim.
It didn't take much to convince me, so we packed up the children and drove to Athol with our beach balls, sand toys, and swimsuits. The kids were so excited.
I guess up here "beach" actually means, "lake-ish". The sand was more like gravel, and the body of water was surrounded by great big pine trees. The "laying out" was tricky since the ants and flies were attracted to the tanning lotion...I mean, sunscreen. Between the swatting and monitoring the babies, I can't say there was much "laying"!
Whatever it was, beach or lake, we had a great time!

Boy, guys have been busy!!! Isn't funny how no matter where you are or what the surroundings, as long as there is water to get wet in kids have a blast?
Let's talk about that picture for just a minute (the first one). That must have been taken by a professional photographer or something. :)
