We had a special Family Home Evening, Monday. 3 of the 8 siblings in my family (along with spouses) met Jessica at Dad and Mom's house to tie a quilt. Jessica kept all of Kimball's jeans and she cut them into squares. Mom sewed the squares together and chose some cute flannel fabric for the back. The quilt is for Makenna (Kimball's 4 year old daughter). Hopefully she will feel him close when she wraps up in the quilt. I also hope she knows how much her aunts, uncles and cousins on her daddy's side love her.
While the grown ups tied, the kids watched a movie and played "school". They always love getting together and playing. They are all great friends!

Hi Rachelle! Nice to see you in the blog world! Your family is just so cute. Your oldest daughter looks just like a Hart.
That is such a great idea with the quilt.
I'm glad to see you guys are doing well!
What a great way for Mckenna to feel close to her daddy. And a good family activity too.
That is so sweet. It made me cry--not that that's an oddity nowadays. That is awesome that you guys are doing so much to keep his memory alive--especially for his wife and daughter.
